Missouri and butterflies

The next day we awoke with the spirit of a thousand springtimes floating beneath our fluffy wings. This is pretty much what that kind of thing looks like.
Birds of a Buteo genus were starting to pop up a lot in Illinois and Missouri.
Kaufman's field guide to birds of North America helped immensely thanks to a very thoughtful Jennifer Margaret Batchelor.
We were in Gad's country now, a meaty oyster of conservatism which somehow holds this pearl of a place in St. Louis by the name of the City Museum.
Thank you to our friend Diane for pointing us to said oyster!
There's really too much wowie zowie here to describe. Let the pictures not do this place justice.
